A Wedding Planners Wedding Plans: Post #4

We have a lot to catch up on! Just over 7 months to go + Corey + I have accomplished a ton of wedding stuff since my last post. It feels so good to be able to check "to-dos" off my list!

Most recently, Corey + I sent out our save-the-dates in order to give our numerous amounts of out of state guests time to plan for the trip, book flights, etc. We ordered them from Big Day Designs + they did a fabulous job! I can't wait to order our invitations from them. They are great for keeping a cohesive design throughout your wedding stationary. They have matching designs for escort cards, menu cards + pretty much anything else you can think of.

Like I mentioned in my previous post, we moved forward with booking transportation to ensure we got the vintage car we wanted to pick us up from our reception. We will be using VIP Transportation. I can't wait to take our first ride as a married couples in a Roles Royce!

Also recently, I published our wedding website, http://croweleblanc.ourwedding.com. I created it for free on The Knot. It's a great way for our guests to get information on wedding attire, room blocks, driving directions, etc. It also has fun touches like a count down till our wedding, the story of the proposal + an online guest book.

One of the best things about my job is the inspiration I get for my own wedding from our At Last brides. Jaclyn + I recently coordinated a beautiful wedding at Cypress Grove Estate House + my mind was filled with great ideas by the end of the night. Once of my favorite elements of their decor was the bride + grooms initials made from flowers. An A+C made from pink carnations was one of the first things on my list when meeting with possible florists.
And speaking of florists, Corey + I will be using Jonathans Flowers for our wedding. Jonathan had great ideas for our wedding theme + was excellent about working with our budget. I never thought I'd be so excited over flowers! One of my favorite ideas came from Jaclyn. She suggested using baby's breath throughout our wedding flowers because of how soft + southern they look. I liked the idea so much that now my bridesmaids bouquets will be made entirely from baby's breath.
Love it!

I'm thrilled with how much we have done for our wedding. We have very few vendors left to get (cake, tux rentals, etc.). Since we are in such great shape I will probably be doing very little planning on our wedding for a little bit. Corey + I both have some exciting things coming up in the next few months to focus on, as well as a brand new, rambunctious puppy to take care of!
Until next time...
