Brittany + Tim's Rainbow Engagement Session

Oh, happy day! We're celebrating Brittany + Tim's love by showing off some fabulous engagement photos. First off, they had these wonderful photos by Avenue des Reveries, while they were in Paris (see those at the bottom). But today, I wanted to share some spectacular images from our good friend KT Crabb Photography. She took them around downtown Orlando where they hung out with some swans + used our fantastic city murals as some stunning backdrops. They also took a quick trip to their home where they snapped some cutesy photos with their fur-babes. Stay tuned to our Instagram stories this weekend because they're getting married, folks!

How did Tim propose?
We were on vacation in Paris! On our second day in Paris, we began with a visit to the Louvre Museum, followed by the Tuileries Garden, before stopping at a nearby cafe. After filling up on Parisian pastries, we arrived at the Eiffel Tower, where we climbed as high as allowed. The views were breathtaking! After taking in the scenery, we headed back down and had a picnic on the Eiffel Tower lawn. Following, we taxied to nearby park and garden, Square Jehan-Rictus, where we viewed the art installation The Wall Of Love, which says "I Love You" in 250 languages. Once we found it written in English (right above the heart), Tim got down on one knee and proposed in front of the wall after showing me photos of him asking our cats for approval. Of course, I said yes!

Tell us about your big day coming up!
We knew we wanted to marry in the heart of Orlando, where we now call home. I had dreamt of a lush garden wedding, even though we live downtown. We decided to have our wedding ceremony at Leu Gardens overlooking the floral clock, and have our reception at the downtown rooftop venue, The Balcony, overlooking Lake Eola. Our color scheme is white, ivory, and champagne. We love neutrals that are both clean and timeless. We intend to incorporate elements of French wedding traditions throughout our ceremony and reception, we are choosing to marry on Earth Day, because we love our planet. We are environmentally conscious, and always celebrate this day at the Central Florida Earth Day Festival in downtown Orlando. We can't wait to make this day even more special by getting married on it which really resonate with us and our lifestyle.

What has been your favorite part of wedding planning?
Our favorite part of wedding planning has been being able to spend more time together while building stronger relationships with both our families.
