Meet : Jennifer + Michael

November 11, 2011 (11/11/11) is going to be one of the biggest wedding days of the year + it's going to be a fantastic one for Central Florida wedding coordinator, At Last Weddings, because Jennifer + Michael are getting married. Not only are they a sensational couple but Jennifer is my very own sister! Here is a fun interview with Jennifer on her experience planning her very own wedding for the past year + a half.

Feel free to browse on over to their e-session from a while ago, too!

Where did you two meet?
We met our freshman year at UCF. My sister Jolene was Michael's brothers resident assistant and when she would put on events for her residents we would go along for some fun. The first time we hung out that stood out to the both of us was the team building at the Challenge Course. We were the only freshman so we had to stick together! Since that day, we hung out a lot and became good friends and after about a year we realized how compatible we were together. The rest is history :)
What are your wedding colors?
Our colors are bright blue, black and silver
Why did you choose 11/11/11 to marry? Is there any special significance?
I have always wanted to get married on 11/11/11. I have a printout of a calendar that my dad got in 2000 with the date showing 11/11/11 being on a Friday. I had the date... I just needed the groom! It was a long shot but once Mike and I looked at our future plans, we realized it was perfect timing!
Which vendor has been the most important to you + why?
Without a DOUBT I would say At Last! I am the luckiest person alive to have the owner as my SISTER! The entire staff has been so amazing. I Have had the most stress-free planning experience of all time.
What has been the biggest hurdle in your wedding planning?
I would have to say the guest list. We booked Eagle Creek Golf Club in Lake Nona and because we are moving around the dance floor, we can only fit the 120 people. It has been hard to cut people out of the most special day of our lives.
What has been the best decision you have made throughout your planning process?
Sticking with what Mike and I want and envisioned for our wedding. There have been a lot of suggestions that we have considered, but if it didn't fit with what we always wanted for our wedding- then sorry! :)
Has your groom been involved in the planning? What has been his favorite part?
It is a good feeling knowing that Mike WANTS to be involved. There are some things I decide on by myself, but I have to say 90% of the wedding we both had a say in. He enjoyed the food tasting.
Will you be honeymooning?
We are heading to Hawaii the day after the wedding and jumping on a cruise! After the week cruise, we are staying at a 4.5 star resort on the beach in Honolulu! Best honeymoon ever!
