This has been a long time coming, folks! For a while I have wanted to redo our master bedroom since it's normally so dark + gloomy, or at least to me it was! I wanted to brighten things up + make it a happy place! Now, the hubs thinks I would put everything white if I could (HA!) so I decided to stick to neutral tones... not exactly white. ;)
It took a few months but I actually found all these items myself, mainly at online retailers. The only main piece I knew we needed to keep was the actual bed because it's fairly new + it was DANG expensive. I worked the rest of the room around that bed style. Here's a quick breakdown below. Oh, + p.s. I kept the prices incredibly low! I would grab the faux plants + pictures frames for steals at around $5-10/each. I'm so happy with it all!
Faux wood wall (it's actually sticker wallpaper!): Amazon for $15/each
Watercolor paining: Kirklands
Gold bench: Home Goods for $20
Pattern rug: Rugs USA for $140
Window cornice: I DIY'd this item + just updated the fabric to a gold/white pattern
Throw blanket: Home Goods for $12
(2) Curtains in "Greyish White": Amazon for $35
Faux snow leopard throw pillows: Pier1 for $25
Wood table lamps: Target for $20
Blanket basket: Home Goods for $15
This before/after photo makes me cringe! I'm so pleased with
how everything turned out but geez the before it so bad haha!
