Meet The Team : Amanda C.

Here we go, friends! Continuing our Meet The Team blog series so all of YOU can learn more about all of US! Here we have Amanda, who has been with At Last for over 5 years now (!!!). This special lady is such an incredible person to have on our team. For many business owners, it is so hard to hand over bits + pieces of your business to new people but Amanda made that so simple because of the wonderful planner + professional that she is. Of any person I've ever met, this gal is so similar to me, when it comes to a career + personal lives, that it is so very easy to love + trust her!

Although Amanda used to be a part of our Orlando team, she now lives in Naples + has been with that branch for the past few years. I'm thrilled to share this magnificent person with all of you this evening :)

How did you get started in the wedding planning industry?
I started by volunteering at several events at popular venues in Orlando, while in school for event management. Shortly after, I began interning with At Last + progressively moved up within the company.
How long have you been with At Last?
5 years
What is your favorite part of the wedding day?
I always seem to tear up when a father sees his daughter for the first time in her wedding dress. Such a sweet moment!

What is your most fun or unique experience you have had in weddings?
Traveling to St. Croix definitely takes the cake! Such an amazing experience + an even more amazing wedding.
Any advice for brides?
It's easy to get wrapped up in trying to please everyone else on your wedding day. I've had many brides stress out over doing what their mom, or grandma, or their second cousins girlfriend wants them to do. Remember that your wedding day is about you + your fiance. Do what makes YOU happy!
Favorite detail you have seen at a wedding?
I've been pretty smitten with naked cakes lately. I think they add a touch of rustic beauty.
Tell us a fun fact about yourself.
I have two rescue dogs but if my husband would let me, I'd have 10! Just kidding... sort of!
What do you like to do in your spare time?
These days you can find me watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse with my toddler :)
If you could do a wedding anywhere, where would it be?
Wine country in California. After seeing the sunset over a vineyard while visitng there I can't get the idea of a ceremony in the heart of a vineyard out of my mind. Natural beauty, minimal decor needed.
Favorite movie?
The hubby + I are major Game of Thrones nerds!
Big thanks to Best Photography for our new team photos!

Engaged : Michelle + Jemy

I'm so excited to share this extraordinary couple with you today! Michelle + Jemy are such a sweet duo. I instantly fell in wedding planning love with them from the very first conversation we had. They shared their incredible proposal story + a bit about their lives + goodness these two are quite the thrill seekers! They love to travel + Jemy even proposed when they were skydiving. Amazing! I loved seeing the video + photos.. I definitely had a happy-tear when I saw it all.

It's so sweet to see their love + I'm ecstatic to be a part of the planning + help with creating the most special day for them. They're getting hitched in November at the new Luxmore Grande Estate. Until then.... enjoy some snaps of these love birds!

Meet The Team : Jen

Continuing our Meet The Team blog series, I give you Jen! This lovely gal has been a part of the At Last team for just under 2 years + has been an outstanding asset. Jen has a great knack for detail + delegation, which makes her an incredible assistant coordinator to have on our team. Let's get to know Jen a bit more with her one-on-one interview.... enjoy!

How did you get started in the wedding planning industry?
A friend of a friend needed some help with her wedding planning company in Jupiter so I was happy to assist.
How long have you been with At Last?
1 1/2 years
What is one of your favorite pieces of a wedding?
I love all of the extravagant centerpieces that brides often time create + design on their own - they all reflect the different personalities.

Any advice for brides?
Remember to soak it all in + have fun... + smile!
What do you like to do in your spare time?
I like to spend time with my family + friends! I love doing anything in the water- beach, kayak, paddle board, fish, etc.
What are some items on your bucket list?
Have a dog of my own, go to Costa Rica, make the most of what life has to offer!

Married : Leanne + Daniel

Leanne + Daniel were such a sweet couple to work with! Leanne's bridal beauty was perfectly put together as you will see below! Everything from her dress, to her makeup, to her bright yellow bouquet was gorgeous + all of their invited guests could not keep their eyes off of how stunning she looked. They tied the knot at St. Stephen Catholic Church holding a very beautiful traditional Catholic ceremony followed by a festive reception at Lake Mary Events Center. This couple really wanted their focus at their reception to be all about friends + families coming together + really celebrating + dancing the entire night; with their family backgrounds being Armenian + Latin... that's exactly what they got! I really enjoyed seeing Leanne + Daniel let loose at their wedding + really immersing themselves in the dancing festivities from the Hora Loca to the Conga Line that wrapped all around the reception (at one point I was even pulled in!). Guests ended the night with some fun take away treats Leanna + Daniel thoughtfully put together + they were sent off with some sparklers to finish it all off!
Congratulations Leanne + Daniel, we wish you many years of a blessed marriage.

P.S. You will notice a baseball theme throughout their lives. If you missed their enengagement session that was set in a stadium, you must revisit it: http://atlast-weddings.blogspot.com/2016/01/engaged-leanne-daniel.html

These two love birds are tying the knot next April at the Winter Park Farmers Market + we cannot wait! Until then, enjoy some favorites from their e-session :)

Meet The Team : Brianna O.

Next up on our "Meet The Team" series is Brianna O. Yes folks, I have two Brianna's (+ two Amanda's) on our team!  Brianna is a special gem + she runs our Naples branch down south. She has been with At Last for a few years now + worked her way up from being an intern, to an assistant, + now is a full wedding planner + coordinator... I'm proud! She has a ton of experience with local Naples vendors + has worked with countless brides in the past. This gal is a great mix of fun + professional, which gives each of her couples a big ol' smile!

I introduce to you.... Brianna O.

How did you get started in the wedding planning industry?
My interested in weddings began at a young age but really took off after working countless weddings while I was in catering. I've always loved seeing the love + excitement of the couple + their families on their wedding day but I wanted to be more involved with the bride + groom so I began working with At Last + started making couples dreams come true!
How long have you been with At Last?
2 years, so far

Tell us about a unique detail you had at a wedding.
Bacon bar! My couple had 5 different flavors of bacon to try. The Maple Syrup one was my personal favorite, yum!
Any advice for brides?
Try not to stress out too much! Everything will turn out beautiful + perfect.

What do you like to do in your spare time?
I try to go to the beach as much as I can :)
What are some items on your bucket list?
Swim with dolphins, go to Greece, do a 3 week road trip around the U.S... just a couple off my list!

If you could do a wedding anywhere, where would it be?
I really want to plan a winter wedding. I grew up in Vermont in the snow + I think of how pretty a white winter wedding would be.
Favorite movie?
My favorite movie will always be Dirty Dancing.
What on your playlist right now?
Anything Luke Bryan.
Big thanks to Best Photography for our new team photos!

Married : Katie + Josh

Katie + Josh tied the knot at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church + had a beautiful celebration at Noah’s Event Venue this past April. We had such a wonderful time working with the couple leading up to the wedding + were so happy to see their beaming faces on their special day! It’s easy to get wrapped up in all the details of a wedding, but even with threats of rain + bad weather (which thankfully never happened), the couple remained calm + excited – their only concern was saying “I do."

Although Katie + Josh made it clear that the celebration was most definitely secondary to them saying their vows, that did not stop them + their families from putting on an amazing party for their loved ones. From a comedy show prior to dinner + donuts for dessert these guests were in for treats all night long. Oh + did we mention Katie’s dress + the floral arrangements?! Time to see for yourself! Enjoy the moments of their big day captured by Concept Photography.

Our wonderful team of vendors for the day:

Choosing "At Last" as my day of coordinator for our wedding was one of the best decisions we made. Jaclyn and her team were wonderful throughout the entire process, sending monthly checklists, always being available to answer questions and give guidance, and most importantly giving me some sanity throughout the final 2 weeks before the wedding. On our wedding day, my coordinator, Katy Luby was extremely professional and helpful, and was able to take on all coordination activities so that my husband, guests, and I could be present in the moment and enjoy the day. I would highly recommend At Last to anyone planning a wedding, especially if you'd like the chance to enjoy it while it happens.
