Meet At Last's . . . Jaclyn!

I recently published a post that gave a little introduction to our newly revamped staff photos {SEE HERE!}. Today, I continue with that introduction so everyone can learn much more about each of the lovely ladies that make up At Last. I know, I know, this should have been done a long time ago but what can I say... we get so wrapped up in wedding planning! The first featured At Last gal is none other than me, myself + I...

Stay tuned for the rest of the ladies- coming soon!

Owner, Boss Lady, Lead Planner + Coordinator, Head Honco ;)
One word to describe me:
Favorite wedding blog:
Every Last Detail + The Loveliest Day
Favorite city:
Lausanne {Switzerland}
I can't live without:
Email, things to do lists + concealer
Colors I'm obsessing over right now:
sea foam green/ivory + peach/champagnes
Wedding pet peeve:
Late guests! At Last weddings always start on time + having late guests is irritating. Also, guests not giving the bride + groom time to eat their dinner. I always make sure my couples eat + they will have plenty of time to welcome their family + friends but sometimes the guests insist on seeing them asap.
My best friend is:
I'm probably required to say my husband but besides him the winner goes to my fab sister, Jennifer.
What I'm ordering at Starbucks:
Tall vanilla latte
My ideal wedding location:
Anywhere with  beautiful countryside mountains
My favorite moments during a wedding:
The bride + grooms first look- either before the ceremony or when the grooms see's his lovely bride walk down the aisle. While all of the guests are watching the bride enter, I get to see the groom's priceless reaction! Also, I love when my couples see the reception space before all of the guests. The "wow, all of the hard work has paid off" feeling can't get any sweeter!
When I'm not planning + coordinating I'm:
Relaxing with my husband Eric, daughter Emily + of course my pup, Sydney. I spend so much of my time emailing, calling, texting with couples + vendors so in my spare time I'm cherishing those special family moments. :)
Big thank you to Bumby Photography for the spectacular photos.

Engaged : Ashley + Garrett

I don't think there could be anything better than a sea lion holding a "save the date" sign, what do you say?! Well, Ashley + Garrett had the most fantastic opportunity to have their engagement session at the St. Louis Zoo, where Ashley is a sea lion trainer, + that's exactly what happened! This wonderful couple currently resides in Missouri + are planning a spectacular wedding here in Florida at Mission Inn. The oh-so talented Alison Duffy Photography captured this stunning couple as they strolled through the Botanical Gardens + visited Roby + Bennie, the adorable sea lions. Check out their stunning photos for yourself!

Married : Jen + Chris

Jen + Chris exchanged "I Do's" at the always lovely Winter Park Farmers Market. The unique thing about their wedding was that they were actually not the only ones saying "I Do". Chris' son was included in both the vows + sand ceremony! It was a heart warming day + we were so happy to see them come together as a family in such a special + memorable way. The bride + groom were beaming from beginning to end, it was impossible not to feel the love! I am so excited to share these photos of the two love birds + some of their amazingly executed rustic DIY details.

Melissa's Review for At Last Wedding + Event Design
I found Jaclyn from At Last, while I was reading online reviews from Wedding Wire.com. She responded to me immediately, and from then on I knew I had made the right decision. My budget was very limited, and I plan events as part of my job, so I had thought a planner would be nice, but not necessary. After speaking with Jaclyn, my planner, I felt like it was something I truly needed to make happen. It totally eased my mind during the planning process to have someone there to guide me. I planned my wedding from 3 states away, having never seen my venue personally, so she was an invaluable resource, for decor advice, vendor recommendations, you name it! She was always available to help offer advice, and executed my dreams without ever making me stress at all on my special day. There is no way my wedding would have been so perfect without Jaclyn from At Last!
