Meet : Jenn + Jonathan

We just love featuring our very own couples so today, I introduce to you... Jenn + Jonathan! This perfect pair is tying the knot this upcoming December at the Maitland Art Center + we are so thrilled to be involved. Want to know more about this fabulous couple? Of course you do! Bride, Jenn answered a few of our questions + even sent over some photos that she has been using for her own wedding planning inspiration.

Where did you two meet?
We met through the website Chemistry.com, which is a site that only allows you to see people who are compatible with your personality type.
     How did he propose?
He asked if I wanted to have lunch in Forsyth Park in Savannah…he was acting a little strangely. It was chilly that day so I had gloves on. I was admiring a very unique tree in the park and he asked me to remove my gloves, then dropped down onto one knee and asked me to marry him. It was incredibly romantic. I got dizzy.

What is the style/theme of your wedding day?
Relaxed, vintage, a little whimsical, a little nature-themed.
Why did you choose December 14, 2013 to marry? Is there any special significance?
It is our dating anniversary.

Which vendor has been the most important to you and why?
Probably the ceremony/reception site, because it sets the tone for everything else.
What has been the best decision you have made throughout your planning process?
To keep things true to who we are as a couple, and NOT plan according to any expectations or desires of others.

Has your groom been involved in the planning? What has been his favorite part so far?
Very involved. He has planned the honeymoon and is taking care of food and beverage. I think his favorite part so far has been pie tasting!
Will you be honeymooning? If so, where?
Yes. We are taking the trip of a lifetime in Patagonia, Argentina.

As we all know, living in Florida certainly has it's up's + downs, especially when it comes to the unpredictable weather. Fortunately, we had one beautifully determined bride + the {overly} chilly weather was just a minor hiccup in a fantastic day.

Crazy for Chevron Details!

Anyone that knows me, knows that I am totally in love with chevron designs right now! What an easy way to spice of your wedding day details + in turn, it can actually end up as a money-saver. Implementing a bold design, like chevron, allows you to stay a bit more simple on surrounding elements. For example, take a look at the first photo below. Because of the bright colored napkins, having a basic linen for the table + simply styled centerpiece arrangements serves as a very appropriate look + still embellishes loads of style.

Married : Maggie + Travis

This may officially be the longest blog post that I have done on a particular wedding but once you start looking through the photos you will understand why. The lovely ladies Blue Lane Studios did such a fantastic job at capturing Maggie + Travis' wedding day that it became extremely difficult to pick + choose which photos to feature! Fortunately, this is a good problem to have ;)

Maggie + Travis truly had a spectacular wedding day. Everything flowed without a hitch + I have my fantastic At Last team + over-the-top vendors to thank for that... oh, + of course, the most ideal couple you could ever imagine working with! This wonderful day consisted of not one but two first looks {make sure you check out Maggie's first look with her father below... so precious!}, rustic DIY details, baby's breath, + a group of goofy/fun/loving bridal party members.

A huge shout out to our A-list team of vendors for the day:
